The 2025 Annual Science Conference (ASC) of ICES brought together marine scientists from around the world in Klaipėda, Lithuania, from 15 to 18 September – with NiD4OCEAN partners actively contributing throughout the week. As the flagship event of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES), ASC offers a unique platform to share research, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration across disciplines.
Several members of the consortium attended, including Darius Daunys, Arturas Razinkovas, David Lusseau, Viktorija Vaitkevičienė, Holly Perryman, and project coordinator Marta Moyano. The event was also of special significance for the consortium, as it was hosted by project partner Klaipėda University.
The conference featured a number of sessions relevant to the project’s work, providing valuable opportunities to connect with peers, exchange insights, and highlight NiD4OCEAN’s mission of advancing nature-inclusive solutions for offshore renewables.
