On 21 May 2026, the NiD4OCEAN consortium gathered online for its 5th Consortium Meeting.
The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to reflect on the progress made since the in-person consortium meeting in Barcelona, where the team worked together to advance discussions across the project’s work packages and explore key questions around nature-inclusive designs for offshore renewable energy.
During the online meeting, partners aligned on the next steps for the coming months, with a focus on strengthening the connections between tasks and ensuring that ongoing work continues to support the project’s broader objectives.
The consortium also discussed the first periodic report, which covers the first half of the project and is currently under evaluation. This reporting period marks an important milestone for NiD4OCEAN, as the project continues to build the knowledge base, tools, and collaborative approaches needed to support nature-inclusive offshore renewable energy across European seas.
The meeting reinforced the importance of coordination across the consortium as NiD4OCEAN moves into its next phase of work.
