Early this week, the NiD4OCEAN consortium came together for a dynamic online meeting — our first full project assembly since the official launch. Everyone found the experience enriching. Even behind screens, the energy and shared commitment sparked fruitful, in-depth conversations about our progress and goals.
It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on a strong six months of collaboration, during which cross-disciplinary efforts have laid the foundation for innovation in nature-inclusive offshore renewable energy.
At a time when sustainable energy solutions are more urgently needed than ever, our mission to embed ecological thinking into offshore energy design is increasingly relevant. With our recent endorsement as a UN Ocean Decade Action, we are proud to contribute to global efforts that prioritise both climate action and ocean health.
We are also excited to be launching our Innovation Challenge — a call to students, SMEs, and innovators to co-create solutions that work with nature, not against it.
